Financial Literacy for Millennials and Young Adults

Zaks Wealth Management hosted a Financial Literacy Workshop on Wednesday June 28th at the RBC Conference Centre Facilities in Mississauga.

It was a tremendous success with 45 people who signed up to attend the presentation. There was a lot of interaction from the audience and some great questions both during and after the workshop. We look forward to conducting another one in the future.

At Zaks Wealth Management we understand that it is important to educate today’s youth on the basics of financial matters.

Topics included:

  • Managing debt – How Mortgages, Credit Cards and Lines of Credit work
  • How different investments work
  • How do I get a credit score and make sure I maintain good credit?
  • The Basics of Budgeting
  • Understanding how taxes work
  • Insurance – car, home, life, when do I need it and how does it work?
