Rob Rongve - Vice President and Investment Advisor
Rob and his team at RBC Dominion Securities, place a high value on client service.  Beyond simply advising clients on their investments, each and every client can look forward to personalized service which always keeps in mind the needs, expectations, tax positions and comfort level of each individual.

Rob graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1985.  Rob's continuing education includes the following designations:  Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers, Certified Financial Planner, Canadian Securites Course and CPH, Options and Derivatives Course, Certified Investment Manager as well as being qualified to advise clients on insurance products.

Rob is very involved in his community, having sat on a number of local boards including the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce (currently as chair of the Immigration Support Committee), the Battlefords and District Community Foundation (currently as Chair) and the United Way, as well as having appointed positions on the City of North Battleford Economic Development Committee and the City's Development Appeals Board.   Rob has a great interest in seeing local businesses and the community, as a whole, thrive. 

You can hear Rob each weekday morning on CBC Radio Saskatchewan 540 with Sheila Coles at 6:40 a.m. with a morning market commentary.

Rob and his wife, Nora, have two daughters, Antje and Rachel.  Rob enjoys hunting, golfing, scuba diving, gardening, wine making and spending time at the lake.

Heath Gabruch - Associate Advisor

Our newest team member, Heath Gabruch was born and raised on the family farm just North of North Battleford where he still actively farms. 

Heath is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan’s Agriculture program with a major in Crop Science.  Heath has completed his Canadian Securities course, and his Conduct and Practices Handbook course which are a great fit with his interest in the investment and agricultural commodity markets.

Heath has always been an advocate of the Battlefords and believes there are huge opportunities here that are still to be realized.

He is very involved in the community and is a director with the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce, on the board of the allocations committe for the Battlefords United Way, is a founding director of the Battlefords Community Foundation and currently chairs the proposed Bio Diesel project in the community.

In his spare time Heath enjoys golfing, flying, down-hill skiing, as well as spending time with his ‘girls’, wife, Colleen and daughter, Samantha.



Rena Weikle - Associate

Rena has been assisting Rob’s team since January 2001.  Rena's background is in the travel and hospitality industry so the switch to the financial industry has been an interesting change.  Rena completed her Canadian Securities course and CPH in 2001 and was registered in February 2002.  Rena's history of working with the public is a great fit with the teams focus on client service.

Rena lives in Cut Knife and is currently in her second term as a member of the Board of Directors of the  Western Development Museum. Rena has achieved the highest level of achievement in Toastmasters having attained her DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) and is very involved with the local club, using her speaking skills to assist at numerous local functions, as well as guest hosting Talk of the Town on the local cable channel. In addition, Rena is secretary for the Clayton McLain Memorial Museum in Cut Knife. In Rena's spare time she enjoys golfing with her daughter, reading, working in stained glass and sharing a good glass of wine with friends.
