Rick began his career in the insurance industry in 1982 and is an expert in his field. He has acquired the Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner designations.

Chris obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies (Finance) from the University of Western Ontario in 1985, followed by his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1989. In 1995, he completed his teaching degree from the University of Windsor.
Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, he established a successful private practice in residential real estate, Wills and estate planning. He was also a Senior Will & Estate Planner for a leading Canadian trust company, and a panel member of the Ontario Licence Appeal Tribunal.
Chris has taught Business Law, Estates Law, Labour Economics, Financial Planning, Accounting, Organizational Behaviour and Marketing at Fanshawe College. He is also a contributing author and co-author of several high school text resources for Law and Civics published by McGraw Hill Ryerson.
