Kathy Hunt, CIM, FMA, FCSI, Associate Portfolio Manager

Kathy Hunt joined RBC Investments in October 2001 and brings with her a wide range of experience in the financial services industry.

Previously, Kathy was Vice President of Operations at an independent, full service brokerage firm where she worked with clients as well as being responsible for compliance and operational duties. Prior to that, Kathy worked in the Private Client Divisions of two large, full-service brokerage firms in administrative and marketing roles for a number of years. Kathy also worked for a time as a personal banker where she looked after the borrowing and investment needs of her clients.

Kathy's specialty is listening to her clients, and helping them achieve their personal and financial goals, using a process to develop a clear financial plan based on their needs. The plan encompasses building wealth in the earlier stages, managing it to reduce risk and increase return, and then preserving it to maintain a desirable retirement lifestyle. Her experience in many aspects of the financial services industry enables her to take a well-rounded approach to investing.
