Janet joined RBC Dominion Securities as an investment advisor in 1995, having previously taught history at the secondary school level for a number of years.

Janet’s business focus is on investment planning for high net worth individuals.  While her core investment philosophy emphasizes long-term capital appreciation combined with stable cash flow, she tailors the investment plan of each client to meet his or her investment objectives and requirements.

Janet’s credentials include the Canadian Investment Management (CIM) designation and Level 2 insurance qualification.  These credentials, combined with RBC Capital Markets’ award-winning research and access to its specialist investment professionals, allow Janet to provide a wide-range of investment, tax-planning and estate preservation strategies for both individuals and family businesses.

Janet has a BA (Hons. Hist.) from Trinity College, University of Toronto.  She is a trustee of the Bishop Strachan School Foundation and is a former director of The Ontario Equestrian Federation.  Janet competed successfully for many years in Canada and the United States in equestrian events.  She is qualified as a hunter/jumper/judge by the Canadian Equestrian Federation and continues to judge horse shows when her schedule permits.
