Allen Wigelsworth Commodity and Futures Advisor
Allen has been in the commodity investment industry for over 30 years. After graduating from the University of Alberta with a Science Degree specializing in Agriculture Economics, he joined Nesbitt Thompson Bongard in 1976. In 1984 he moved over to Prudential Bache Securities until Burns Fry bought them out in 1990. With his business partner Robert Haug, they opened their own commodity brokerage firm. Commodity Management Inc. operated very successfully for 18 years until they sold and moved their business over to RBC Dominion Securities in December of 2008.
In addition to Allen's commitment in the workplace, he has been involved with several community sport organizations over the years including soccer and hockey. Now that his two boys are grown he enjoys outdoor activities that include running and road biking.
Robert Haug Commodity and Futures Advisor
Robert has been employed in the commodity futures industry for over 24 years. He began his career in 1984 with International Futures Ltd at their Edmonton branch and was promoted to Branch Manager in 1987. In 1989, he moved his commodity business to Prudential Bache Securities until they were taken over by Burns Fry in 1990.
Along with his partner Allen Wigelsworth, they founded Commodity Management Inc. in 1990. After 18 successful years as an independent commodity brokerage firm they sold Commodity Management and moved their brokerage business to RBC Dominion Securities in December 2008.
Marty PawlakAssociate
Marty has been employed in the industry since 2003. He recieved his Bachelor of Commerce degree in finance from the University of Saskatchewan and obtained his mutual fund and insurance licenses shortly after becoming employed in the industry. Marty completed his Derivative Fundamentals Course and the Futures Licensing course in 2008. Marty and his wife Tracey moved to Edmonton in the fall of 2007 to join Robert and Allen at RBC Dominion Securities.
