Garth Lauer has been with RBC Dominion Securities for the past 10 years.  He joined the company immediately after he graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Finance and Economics degree.

Garth started his career as an Associate in the Hamilton office of RBC Dominion Securities. He then moved to the Training Department where he covered the technology training of all our branches in Southwestern Ontario.  Garth was able to learn and work with some of the biggest teams in Ontario. It was this invaluable learning experience about the business that allowed Garth to become a successful Investment Advisor on his own.  He was then offered the chance to use his experience and knowledge to help coach existing and new Investment Advisors as an Assistant Manager in Hamilton, for a year, and then for 2 years at our downtown Toronto office at Royal Bank Plaza.
