Wade Gregory
Wade has been an Investment Advisor since 1994 and Manager of the Charlottetown Branch of RBCDS since 2003. He was born in Charlottetown, PEI and obtained his University education at UPEI and UNB, graduating from UNB in 1979 with a BPE (Administration) degree. Before entering the investment business in 1994, Wade worked as a staff accountant at Coopers & Lybrand in Charlottetown and as Financial Accountant and later Senior Staff Accountant at Maritime Electric Co. Ltd. While at Maritime Electric, he implemented and administered the Customer and Employee Share Purchase Plans.
Wade has completed a number of Continuing Education courses with the Canadian Securities Institute, including the Canadian Securities Course, Options Licensing Course, Branch Manager's Course, Derivatives Fundamentals Course, CIM 1 (Certified Investment Manager 1) Course, and the Options Supervisor Course.
As an Investment Advisor, Wade is committed to providing his clients with the best possible advice, helping them to grow and protect their assets to create income for retirement, and, when the time comes, to plan their legacy through estate planning and insurance strategies. He also administers estate and trust funds, group pension plans and federal and provincial government special project funds.
As Branch Manager, he is dedicated to ensuring that his team of professional Investment Advisors offer the highest quality advice and investment products to all clients of RBCDS.
Away from the office, Wade enjoys golf and is active in community, political and sporting endeavours. He has coached table tennis and minor baseball and is presentlyTreasurer of the PEI Table Tennis Association and a member of the Board of Directors of Sport PEI. He is married to Maureen, a lawyer, and they have two sons, Mark and Todd.
