Carol joined RBC Dominion Securities in February 1989, after a lengthy career with a major bank, followed by employment at another investment dealer. Since joining RBC Dominion Securities, Carol has received many awards and recognitions for her investment knowledge and outstanding client service. In 1991, Carol was awarded the prestigious President of the President’s Club designation, and in 1994 was promoted to Vice President. In 1998, Carol was chosen one of the top five Investment Advisors in Ontario as part of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada’s annual Distinction Award. And in 2005, she was appointed a Director of RBC Dominion Securities Inc.
Carol is one of a select group of advisors who is licensed to conduct discretionary management for her clients. Private Investment Management is a service that is greatly appreciated by those who either do not have the time, or the expertise, to make their own investment decisions.
As a long time resident of Orillia, Carol is very active in the
community and is current President of the Orillia Kiwanis Club, and past chair of the Leisure World Family Council for four years. She has been involved with the Community Foundation of Orillia and Area since its inception, ten years ago, recently finishing a term as chair, and has been a driving force behind the area's Kiwanis Children's Safety Village. She was also one of the original trained volunteers with the North Simcoe Victim Crisis and Assistance Referral Service.
Carol and her partner Don, enjoy spending their time at their farm and trailriding together, or travelling to compete with their horses; and Carol is also in her second term as President of the Ontario Reining Horse Association.
Between them, Carol and Don have three boys, Rick, A.J. and Billy with two grandchildren, Evan and Aria.
