Steve graduated from Trent University in 1983 and is an experienced portfolio manager who has been advising private clients since 1985. His background as an Investment Advisor, Portfolio Manager and Branch Manager when combined with his designations give Steve the knowledge to deal with even the most complex of financial situations. Steve has received a number of awards and appointments over the years.
He was appointed Branch Manager in 1993, Vice President in 1997 and Portfolio Manager in 2004. In 2007, Steve was appointed Vice President and Director, Portfolio Manager, RBC Dominion Securities, the first person in Peterborough ever to receive this designation.

He joined RBC Dominion Securities in 1993. In 1996, he was bestowed a Certified Investment Manager (CIM) and the prestigious Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). He was also one of the few approved instructors for the Canadian Securities Institute's Intelligent Investing series of public non-promotional educational seminars.
In more recent years, Richard has obtained the Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP) designation, as well as that of a Portfolio Manager and Investment Counsellor. These latter two designations allow for the management of discretionary, fee-for-service portfolios for Canadian and U.S. residents using his trademarked investment process.

Catherine began her career at RBC Dominion Securities in 1994 after graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a BA in commerce and administration. She believes in continuous education and has earned the Professional Financial Planning Designation (PFP), insurance and options licenses and has been awarded the prestigious Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), their highest designation.
Catherine is active in the community through volunteer involvement in Festival of Trees, Peterborough YWCA and St. Joseph's Care Foundation. Away from the office, Catherine enjoys spending time with her children, Alex, Samantha and Grace, cooking, golf and travel.
