Community Involvement

In 2007, the Edmonton Oxford branch has participated in numerous fund raising activities for several Edmonton area charities. Our branch collected Coats for Kids, circulated Food Bank boxes at corporate events, collected for women’s shelters, books and magazines for local hospitals, as well as toys for kids during Christmas and the Edmonton Humane Society.

2008

For 2008, we have chosen to focus our efforts on 3 charities. Within our office, fundraising is an ongoing objective with aims for the following goals:

1.    Sponsor a child in need for 1 year.

2.    Sponsor a kennel at the Edmonton Humane Society for 1 year.

3.    Sponsor a school’s toy drive for gifts for under privileged children during the holidays.

In addition to these activities, RBC Dominion Securities Edmonton Oxford has a long standing history of supporting the United Way and continually fund raises on their behalf.
