In the Community
RBC Scholastic Award
The RBC Scholastic Achievement Awards are presented annually to students in the Lambton/Kent market that excel in hockey and academics. This year there are two age categories:
- Elementary School students (grade 8 and under) and High school students (grade 9 and over) can apply for a $500 RESP courtesy of RBC Dominion Securities and
- Grade 12 students can apply for a four year $5,000 scholarship to an accredited post secondary institution.
At RBC Financial Group (RBC), we consider our support of education and amateur sport not only to be an investment in communities, but also in Canada’s future. These two RBC Scholastic Achievement Awards are designed to reward both female and male student-athletes in the Lambton-Kent area who have balanced academic achievements with success as a hockey player and contributor to the community.
