Thomas Seah began his career with a leading insurance company in 1984 after he completed his Economics degree at the University of Guelph. He was a President's Club and a Chairman Club's member. Thomas received the prestigious honour of the National Quality Award for many years from the Insurance Industry's Association. He also worked as an assistant manager and branch manager before joining RBC DS Financial Services in 1994.
Thomas is a featured speaker in seminars and in the financial services industry.
Rebecca Henri
Financial Planning Specialist
Rebecca brings over 10 years of financial planning experience to her role in helping clients meet their goals. She received a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree from Trent University in 1996 and has maintained a commitment to continued learning.
Rebecca holds the Certified Financial Planner designation from the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada and has also completed the Professional Financial Planner, Canadian Securities and Canadian Insurance Courses.
Over the last three years, Rebecca has worked extensively with high net worth clients including business owners, executives and professionals and has gained considerable expertise with more advanced tax and estate planning strategies.
Catherine Nicholls
Will and Estate Consultant
Catherine works closely with the team to provide you with information on structuring your estate in an efficient and tax-effective manner. Following your meeting, Catherine will provide you with a report outlining various estate planning issues for you to explore in further detail with your own lawyer or accountant.
Catherine received her law degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 and has been a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1980. She was a partner in a small law firm and primarily practiced law in the areas of residential real estate, Will and estate planning and estate administration. Catherine joined a major trust company as a Senior Will and Estate Planner in 1996 and has since then focused exclusively on this area of law. She continues to focus on will and estate planning with RBC Dominion Securities. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Estate Planning Council of Niagara and the Niagara In House Legal Council Group.
Lisa M. Smith

Suzanne Schultz

Suzanne Schultz is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner with a specialty in tax and estate planning. As an Estate Planning Specialist for RBC, she uses her knowledge of corporate and personal tax to develop personalized insurance solutions to meet the needs of business owners, highly taxed investors, affluent families and other clients. Suzanne’s areas of expertise include the use of insurance for personal and corporate tax planning, wealth preservation, financial planning, estate planning (including U.S. estate tax) and charitable giving.
Prior to joining RBC in 2006, Suzanne was the Associate Vice-President of the Tax and Estate Planning Group of one of Canada’s leading multi-family office firms. She was previously a Tax Manager at one of the largest professional services companies where she completed her CA designation with an honour roll placing, and completed the CICA In-depth tax course. She has taken numerous courses on tax and estate planning, including masters level courses on U.S. taxes. Suzanne is the co-author of 78 Tax Tips for Canadians for Dummies, host of the HGTV series House Poor and has been a regular guest on the Business News Network. She has written articles and contributed towards publications for the Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star and Hamilton Spectator.
